ESPN, best known for 24-hour sports coverage, is adding feature films  
to its line up. ESPN has produced several dramas and documentaries  
for TV, but now ESPN will carry that same formula over to the big  
screen.

ABC Unveils Plans for a New & Improved Online Video Player
ABC.com’s video player might not be as famous as Hulu or BBC iPlayer,  
but it was the first. The network will give their player, boasting  
8.9 million unique users, a facelift to improve user interaface.

Madonna Goes Back to Her Roots
Michael Moore is bringing fellow Michiganer, Madonna, and her African  
documentary about Malawi to the Traverse City Film Festival, which  
Moore founded, in August. This is big news for Michigan since the  
Material Girl has opted to skip Detroit on her last three tours.
