Welcome to the January 2007 edition of the South by Southwest (SXSW) 
Interactive Festival monthly listserve. Read below for information on 
upcoming SXSW Interactive Festival networking receptions in Chicago, San 
Francisco, New York City and Austin. This listserve also contains 
details on the jam-packed daytime programming schedule for this year's

1. January 8 Event in Chicago Kicks Off Month of SXSW Interactive Parties

This month, SXSW Interactive is hosting networking receptions in Chicago 
(Monday, January 8), San Francisco (Monday, January 15), New York City 
(Monday, January 22) and Austin (Monday, January 29). These parties are 
your chance to meet with organizers of the Interactive Festival (as well 
as other SXSW attendees) in a relaxed and informal setting. If you are a 
digital creative who lives in one of these cities and would like an

2. Save $75 on Walk-Up Fees if You Register by Friday, January 12

4. Five Days of Panels Cover Full Range of Geek-Related Content

Panel programming for the 2007 SXSW Interactive Festival begins on 
Friday afternoon, March 9 and continues through Tuesday afternoon, March 
13. These sessions cover a full range of tech-centric topics from 
blogging brainstorms to mobile content creation; from business 
development to award-winning web design; from streaming video exposes to
