Welcome to the December 2007 edition of the South by Southwest (SXSW) 
Interactive Festival monthly listserve. Read below for more information 
on the December 14 final entry deadline for the SXSW Web Awards. 
Additionally, this listserve contains a simple SXSW Interactive-related 
trivia question. Provide the right answer and you can win a FREE FREE 
FREE registration to next year's event. The 2008 shindig is scheduled 
for Friday, March 7 through Tuesday, March 11 in Austin, Texas, the 
worldwide hub of creative thinking.

2. Friday, December 14 is Final Submission Deadline for Web Awards

The SXSW Web Awards showcase this industry's most exciting new trends 
and innovators. If you have designed a new site in the last year, then 
you should enter your work in this amazing competition. Hurry, final 
entry deadline is Friday, December 14. See

stay tuned to the SXSW website next week for the announcement of the 
emcee for the 2008 Web Awards Ceremony. Scheduled for Sunday evening,

3. Panels Panels and More Panels: More Programming Announced

7. Meet SXSW in January: Parties Planned for NYC, Chicago, SF and Seattle

Speaking of networking, January is the month when SXSW Interactive hosts 
a series of parties across the United States. This is your chance to 
meet organizers of the event, as well as other members of the SXSW 
community. The schedule for these networking parties is as follows: San 
Francisco (Tuesday evening, January 8); Chicago (Monday evening, January 
14); New York (Monday evening, January 21), and Seattle (Monday evening, 
January 28). Guest list is very limited. Please RSVP to
